Shanni National Conference was held in Homalin, Sagaing, on August 22.
At the conference held today (August 22), issues related to the rights of Shanni ethnic groups, being able to affirm the names being different and the acquisition of Shanni State, are discussed.

That conference is the second time held. The first Shanni National Conference was held as a preliminary in Homalin, Sagaing and MohNyin township, Kachin, and in 2016, it was held in Mandalay with everyone’s agreement.
