At the invitation of the President of Laos, Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, the President of Myanmar, U Min Aung Hlaing, departed from Nay Pyi Taw Airport by special aircraft on the morning of July 3, 2026.
Subsequently, the Myanmar delegation led by President U Min Aung Hlaing and his wife, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, arrived in Laos.
President U Min Aung Hlaing is visiting Laos from July 3 to July 5. This visit coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Laos (1955–2026).
During his trip to Laos, President U Min Aung Hlaing will meet and hold discussions with Laotian President Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith.
