The President has submitted a proposal to form a new government in Myanmar consisting of 30 Ministers and 31 Ministries.

During the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (Union Parliament) session held on April 6, 2026, the President proposed the following 31 ministries:

Proposed Ministries (1–18)

1.    Office of the President
2.    Ministry of National Planning, Investment, and Foreign Economic Relations
3.    Ministry of the Office of the President
4.    Ministry of Transport
5.    Ministry of Digital Development and Communications
6.    Ministry of Defence
7.    Ministry of Home Affairs
8.    Ministry of Foreign Affairs
9.    Ministry of Finance and Taxation
10.    Ministry of Border Affairs
11.    Ministry of Ethnic Affairs
12.    Ministry of Legal Affairs
13.    Ministry of Education
14.    Ministry of Science and Technology
15.    Ministry of Health
16.    Ministry of Women’s Affairs
17.    Ministry of Information
18.    Ministry of Religious Affairs

Proposed Ministries (19–31)

19.    Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation
20.    Ministry of Co-operatives and Rural Development
21.    Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation
22.    Ministry of Electricity and Energy
23.    Ministry of Industry and MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) Development

Among these 31 ministries, it is observed that the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and the Ministry of Culture have been merged into a single entity.
