Brunei, Cambodia and Indonesia which were ASEAN rotating chairpersons tried to get a chance to meet DASSK, but they didn't get. Thai Deputy PM is the first foreign diplomat who got a chance to meet DASSK..That Thai Deputy PM got a chance to meet DASSK was unusual because Thailand has good relations with USA which the people in Myanmar political circle have reviewed.
According to resources from Naypyidaw, it is right that DASSK met Deputy Thai Deputy PM on 9th July and that she does not recognize NUG/PDF is likely because she has maintained non-terrorism policy.
