The Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) and the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) quarreled in relation to asking for donation to the people who were affected by the earthquake in Kutkai, northern Shan State.
The TNLA and the Ta'ang Land Education Council (TLEC) were asking for donation at the traffic lights while the MNDAA was asking for donation at the Myoma Market in Kutkai on April 1, 2025.
However, the TNLA came and prevented the MNDAA from asking for donation, saying the MNDAA did not ask permission from the TNLA after which the two sides quarreled, said a local.
There are disputes and quarrels in territorial and administrative sectors among the TNLA, the MNDAA and the KIA.
A 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck centering in Sagaing City, near Mandalay on March 28, 2025 in Myanmar.
The earthquake killed more than 2,000 people and injured around 4,000 in Sagaing, Mandalay, Magway, Naypyidaw Council areas, and Shan State.
In addition, roads, bridges, homes, hotels, government offices, staff housing, and religious buildings were also destroyed.
