A donation ceremony was held to help and rescue the people affected by the massive earthquake in Myanmar, raising a total of 116.84 billion kyats. 

A donation ceremony for earthquake victims was held in Naypyidaw on April 1, 2025 and business people, military and civilian leaders attended the ceremony.

Donors donated Ks104.44 billion in cash and Ks12.4 billion in goods, totaling Ks116.84 billion. A 7.7 magnitude earthquake that rocked Myanmar on March 28 killed over 2,000 people and injured nearly 4,000 people.

Moreover, hotels, homes, religious buildings, government offices, employee housing, roads and bridges were destroyed.
