The Shanni Nationalities Army (SNA) is reportedly immunizing children aged 1 to 5 years and pregnant women in Banmauk Township, Sagaing Region. 

A paramedic Saysan Kyi and team from the SNA, in collaboration with physicians in Banmauk Township, are immunizing five hybrid vaccines for diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, Hepatitis (B), Meningitis.

Moreover, they are immunizing vaccines for Pneumocystis carinii pneumonia (pcp), polio, Japanese encephalitis, measles and German measles, said locals. 

The SNA is carrying out security operations in Banmauk, Homalin townships, Tamu-Aung Zeya region, Khamti, Shwe Pyi Aye Townships as well as in the areas along the India-Myanmar border. 

And it was providing healthcare to the people from these regions, said locals.
