The Restoration Council of Shan State (RCSS) and the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee (NSPNC) discussed about collaboration to be able to hold free and fair multi-party democratic general election in the regions of ethnic armed organizations (EAOs).
The discussion was held at the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Center on 21 September 2023.
The RCSS and the NSPNC discussed about being able to emphatically hold the 8th anniversary celebration of the Nationwide Ceasefire Agreement (NCA) and to collaborate in order to successfully hold free and fair multi-party democratic general election in the EAO regions.
RCSS's discussions about providing humanitarian aids in the EAO regions, sections in the 2008 constitution that should be amended and economical requirements for regional development were mutually discussed and negotiated.

And then, they agreed to go on holding the discussion on 22nd September.
The discussion was attended by RCSS Secretary-1 Sao Sai Ngin, Central Executive Committee members Sao Saung Han and Sao Um Khe and Central Steering Committee members Sao Sai Han and Sao Sai Lyan.
Lt-Gen Min Naing, secretary of the NSPNC and negotiation committee members attended the discussion.
The RCSS has signed the NCA with 7 other EAOs on 15 October 2015.
