The NDSC Office announced on July 31, 2025, the formation of the Central Advisory Group of the National Defense and Security Council.
The Central Advisory Group is headed by U Saw Htun Aung Myint, and its members include U Thein Nyunt, U Khin Maung Swe, Daw Aye Nu Sein, Saw Daniel, Dr. Banyar Aung Moe, Dr. Maung Maung Naing, U Shwe Kyein, U Yan Kyaw, U Wunna Maung Lwin, Mahn Nyein Maung, Daw Dwe Bu, Poe Ye' Aung Thein, Dr. Mu Thang, and Khun San Lwin.
