The JCB aims to implement (1) a civilian-led government that separates the military from politics, (2) the guiding principles of a federal democratic constitution, (3) reconciliation and military accountability, and (4) a nine-step process leading to sustainable and peaceful conflict resolution.
However, the Salween Institute, which is leading the June 17th seminar in Chiang Mai, is an organization that provides public policy research training for Myanmar citizens.
