The Philippine government sent a delegation that includes soldiers to Myanmar on April 1 to help rescue earthquake victims. The rescue team consists of a total of 91 people. 

On April 1, the Philippine Air Force transported the 58-member team on two C-130 aircraft for the first time.

And then the Philippines will send a 33 member relief team to Myanmar on April 2. The team includes the Philippine army, Philippine Air Force, Fire Protection Bureau, The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, the Environment and Natural Resources/Private Sector, the Philippine Medical Assistance Group and the Civil Defense Office Coordinators.

Moreover, The team will also bring relief supplies and medical supplies.
