Those who planned to launch shock missiles attack on the opening ceremony of the No-3 Thanlyin Bridge connecting Thaketa and Thanlyin in Yangon Region attended by Sr-Gen Min Aung Hlaing, C in C of the Defense Services and Chairman of the State Administration Council (SAC) were arrested, stated the SAC on 10th June, 2024. 

The opening ceremony of the No-3 Thanlyin Bridge held on 8th June was attended by Sr-Gen Min Aung Hlaing, Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, associate secretary of the SAC, Chief of the Air Force and chief minister of Yangon Region. 

Those who planned to attack were arrested while they were making preparation to launch shock missile attack on the ceremony.

Members of Yangon UG - Sein Gyi (B) Aung Htwe, Cho Gyi (B) Hein Htet Aung, Min Thu, Maung Hein, Aung Thura Tun, Pyae Phyo Zaw and Htet Arkar Lin were arrested in an old wooden hostel room in the dockyard staff housing area in 61 Ward, Dagon Myothit Seikkan Township with two shock missiles, two fuses, two grenades, two batteries, four wire coils and other accessories on 8th June, 2024, stated the SAC.

And then, collaborators to launch a shock missile attack - Chit Kay Khine, Zarni Aung (B) Ko Zar were arrested with a 107 mm shock missile and a fuse on 9th June, 2024 said in the statement.
